The index opened at 2,706.73 points to start the trading day. The index fluctuated throughout the day, closing at 2,655.15 points after hitting an intraday low of 2,737.68 points and a high of 2,737.68 points.
A total of 222,660 transactions involving 325 scrips were made during today's session, generating a sizable volume of 47,790,837 shares. Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) was the top gainer in terms of stock performance, with an increase of 9.77%.
In contrast, Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ACLBSL), which fell by 8.35%, saw the greatest loss.
